I think it's important to work somewhere where clear, open and honest communication is encouraged.

What were the considerations for you, that made you accept a job at FFD?

There are a few considerations I made when looking for my first job. I wanted to work for a company that didn't have a structured career path that everyone had to go through. A place where I am not a number. I also think it's important to work somewhere where clear, open and honest communication (something I am myself) is encouraged.

What does a week look like at FFD?

I go to the office 2 to 3 times a week, the rest of the week I work at home. On office days I have a lot of contact with my colleagues, and I am therefore aware of their activities and the current status of the projects. Furthermore, I have 1 or 2 meetings a day that structurally contribute to the progress of the projects, no meetings to discuss before other meetings or that kind of corporate way of working. The rest of the time I spend on performing the tasks that ensure that a project is actually delivered as it was initially discussed. There is a lot of freedom in terms of time allocation as long as a minimum quality of work is delivered that is consistent with the quality of Full Force.

They are very willing to put time and effort into their people through personal coaching and weekly meetings, in which everything can be discussed within the company.

What are the benefits of working at FFD?

There is a wide range of talent available, all highly specialized in their field. This means that you always learn new things in every conversation with your colleagues and gain new knowledge every conversation. Furthermore, this applies not only to colleagues but also to the partners of the company. They are very willing to put time and effort into their people through personal coaching and weekly meetings, in which everything can be discussed within the company. The open communication also comes from the partners to their employees which ensures that you are not only an employee but also really informed and part of the decisions that are made about the future of the company. This open communication also creates a nice atmosphere between all employees (internal and external) where everyone has the opportunity to speak without being surprised.

What kind of advice would you like to give starters that are currently hesitating to work at FFD?

If you have any doubts about FFD, I will recommend that you visit the office and schedule a meeting with one of the partners to just come and talk about the possibilities. In the meantime, FFD knows how to guide someone from the university, and it was clear to me after one conversation that this was a company that was close to me as a person, even though I was really looking forward to starting work. So, if you've spoken to a few people, and it feels good just take the step to get started and the rest will work itself out!
